Having a day when it doesn't hit me that I am transgender would be nice, but far away right now. Like I said before, my path is quite different from yours but a real path story will be a year+ away (just 4 months into HRT now, out for almost 8 months). Weird to think of how my life will change a year from now, or 2 years, or 10 years. Plan to do an orchiectomy next year as the wait time for SRS is looong (1-3 years) and I can't get on that wait list until a year of HRT is done (my endocrinologist will put me on the orchi list in February despite it having the same rule). Both covered by health care here in Ontario Canada so my 'cheap and cheerful' transition continues. Laser every 6 weeks now up to 6 sessions, HRT meds doing their work, workouts stalled (needed stitches in left hand's webbing so very limited right now) but will get going fully in 2 weeks (just bottom work right now, but still limited). I am determined to make my body as good as I can with as little surgery as possible. Now, win the lottery and all bets are off, but somehow I doubt that'll happen.

For now I yak to my kids about it, a bit too much I suspect, but they put up with it. I listen to their issues too of course.
